[Softball] SOFTBALL: MCU Drops Two in Hawaii

The Week of Feb. 18 - 24 in Review

After having nine of the first 12 scheduled games canceled due to rain, Marymount California opened last week with a pair of games in Honolulu, Hawaii.  The Mariners played a doubleheader against NCAA Division II Hawaii Pacific, and the Sharks swept the two games.  In the first one, a 5-2 loss, Brianna Heaviside walked and moved up on a McKenna Boyle single.  A ground out put runners at second and third, and Princess Nava reached on a field error that brought Heaviside home for the first MCU run.  Heaviside drove in the second run on a single in the 3rd inning.
