[Softball] Emmanuel (Ga.) Sweeps Doubleheader from Point Softball, 2-1 and 3-0

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – Emmanuel College (4-4), a member of the NCAA Division II, rallied from one run down with a tying run in the bottom of the seventh inning and the winning run in the eighth to win game one, 2-1, and won game two, 3-0, with two runs in the first inning and one in the third inning against Point University (2-4), in Thursday, Feb. 14 doubleheader action in Franklin Springs, Ga.  Coached by Jennifer Tyler (8th season), Point plays two more twinbills this weekend, including Friday, Feb. 15, at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga., at 3 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 16, against Columbia College (S.C.) in the Appalachian Athletic Conference season-opener on West Point Park Field at 2 p.m.
