[Softball] Bees earn NFCA Top-10 academic team honors
The St. Ambrose softball team received National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Top-10 academic team honors for their work in the classroom last year.
SAU's cumulative grade-point average of 3.549 for the 2017-18 academic year placed the team sixth among all NAIA softball programs.
In addition, 12 Bees were named NFCA Scholar-Athletes for earning a 3.5 GPA or higher last year - Megan Ballegeer, Colleen Barrett, Sydney Engelhart, Logan Frerichs, Ryan Friend, Morgan Krieger, Libby Munsterman, Carley Rusk, Ella Specht, Madelyn Thompson, Julie Trellicoso and Sarah Willman.
