This time, it’s for ALL the marbles
The time for SoftbaLL is upon us again.

Last season, we had games in June and then one in early October that almost got rained out, but we Northwest die-hards persevered in the name of SoftbaLL glory.
This season, I have gone ahead and taken the liberty of booking us a field on Saturday, June 23 for our first of two SoftbaLL tilts.

The Mariners are on the road in Boston that day, so the plan will be to retire to a kid-friendly sports bar to be named later to watch the 4:10 PM game, drink adult beverages, and eat some grub. The Player of the Game will receive my infamous and terrible bootleg Dae-Ho Lee jersey as a prize. What criteria will I use to decide who wins? Well, just channel your inner KBO ballplayer and take a wild guess.
SoftBall 2018 Game Two
Here’s where we need your help! Please vote below for one of the dates in August. I went ahead and just booked the June one since I wanted to make sure we got two games in during the good weather months, but I want the community’s input for this one in case some folks can’t make the June 23 game.
So, vote on an August date and hopefully we’ll see lots of wonderful LLers and friends on June 23 at Lower Woodland Park. All skill levels and ages welcome, please don’t be shy!
