[Softball] Trevecca Softball | Trojans See Tournament and Season End in Loss to Panthers in Extras

XENIA, Ohio – The fifth-seeded Trevecca Nazarene University softball team went 0-1 on Friday in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) softball championships. Trevecca was defeated by Ohio Dominican University 4-3 in nine innings. With the loss the Trojans season has ended

GAME CHRONICLE

The game was scoreless through three innings until TNU put two runs on the board in the fourth on a couple of singles from Kelsey Seitz (FR/Milford, OH) and MaKray Odom (SO/McEwen, TN) to give TNU a 2-0 lead … Trevecca made it a 3-0 lead on a Caitlyn Hudgins (JR/Springfield, TN) double in the fifth inning. The Panthers answered back in the fifth with a run of their own to cut the deficit to 3-1 … The Panthers scored two in the bottom of the seventh to send the game into extras as they tied it 3-3 … ODU won the game 4-3 on a RBI single.

 

PLAYER STATS REPORT

MaKray Odom went 3-5 with a RBI and a stolen base … Mary Collins (JR/Collierville, TN) went 3-4 … Kelsey Seitz went 3-4 with a RBI … Raygn Hall (SO/Kingston, TN) pitched eight and two thirds innings for the Trojans allowing four runs, three of them being earned and striking out two Ohio Dominican batters

TNU collected 14 hits two of them being doubles and Trevecca batters went to the plate 38 times during the game.
