[Softball] ONU bounces back after opening game slip

ROSEMONT, Ill. – A new season has begun, the post season kicked off for the Olivet Nazarene University softball team on Thursday, May 3 with the opening of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. Day one of play didn't disappoint the fans in attendance at the Ballpark at Rosemont, seeing three lower seeds leave the field with victories. The Tigers, earning the second seed after finishing second in the regular season, were one of the upset victims, falling 2-1 to No. 7 seed Trinity Christian College (Ill.) in their opener.  ONU bounced back in the night cap, downing St. Ambrose University 9-2 to stay alive.
