[Softball] Softball travels to Cumberlands for a conference series Friday-Saturday

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 11-ranked Lindsey Wilson softball teams travels to Cumberlands  (Ky.) for a four-game Mid-South Conference series Friday-Saturday at the UC Softball Complex. The series starts with a doubleheader on Friday at 3 p.m. CT and wraps up with an 11 a.m. CT doubleheader Saturday.

Lindsey Wilson (21-4, 2-0 MSC) extended its season-high winning streak to 11 games with a doubleheader sweep of Georgetown (Ky.) on March 23 to open up MSC play. The Blue Raiders took game one 3-1 and completed the sweep with a 9-6 victory in game two. Kelsie Cornelius drove in a pair of runs in the first game while Lyric Houston also recorded an RBI. Annabelle Ramirez picked up her fifth win of the season with the complete game. She allowed five hits with one run that was unearned with three walks and striking out four.
