[Softball] No. 25 Lyon Begins Road Trip at CRC Tuesday

BATESVILLE, Ark. – The 25th-ranked Lyon College softball team (22-8) will begin a long road trip this week, starting with Crowley's Ridge on Tuesday in Paragould, Ark. The Scots and Pioneers will play a doubleheader at 12 p.m.

Lyon is coming off a doubleheader split against Central Baptist on Saturday. The Scots fell in game one to the Mustangs, 4-0 before winning 6-3 in the rubber match. Rachel Norman and Cheyenne Black each had four hits for the Scots, while Riley Shaw added two RBIs. Katelyn Platt recorded her 10th win of the season throwing a complete game and allowing just three earned runs, while striking out four batters.
