[Softball] Point Splits a Pair with Agnes Scott; Loses 2-1 in 9 Innings; Wins 8-7 on Walk-off Hit

WEST POINT, GA: Agnes Scott College (3-7) pushed across the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning and defeated Point University (7-9) in game one, 2-1, and the Skyhawks got a walk-off RBI single from junior Britney Rice (Dadeville, AL) with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning of game two, giving Point a come-from-behind 8-7 victory in Wednesday, Feb. 28 non-conference softball doubleheader action on West Point Park Field.

Point totaled 21 hits in the doubleheader, including 14 in game two, and received 12 walks, but left 12 runners on base in game one and 13 more in game two.
