MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene University softball team (7-3, 0-0 G-MAC) completed a two-game sweep with two wins over Bethel University (1-7) on Tuesday at Wildcat Field.

SERIES HISTORY/NOTES: Trevecca is 31-5 all-time versus Bethel University. The Trojans have won the last 11 games against Bethel. The Trojans host the Wildcats on April 24th at the Trojan Softball Complex.
GAME CHRONICLE
GAME 1
The Trojans struck first in the top of the third on an error by the Wildcats on a ball hit by Ali Birchfield (SO/Trenton, GA) that scored Danelle Horton for a 1-0 lead … Bethel answered back in the bottom of the fourth getting a run to tie the game 1-1 … in the top of the sixth Caitlyn Hudgins (JR/Springfield, TN) reached on another Wildcat error scoring Dallas Richards (JR/Columbia, TN) to tak a 2-1 lead after six and a half innings. Trevecca's biig inning came in the top of the seventh highlighted by a couple of doubles by Bailey Alexander (JR/Glasgow, KY) and Tana Whited (SO/Lebanon, TN) that helped TNU bring in four runs for the Trojans and win the game 6-1
GAME 2:
BU got the scoring started in the bottom of the first on a ground out to give them a 1-0 lead … the Trojans took the lead on a two-run homerun from Tana Whited in the top of the third to give Trevecca a 2-1 lead … BU tied the game in the bottom half on a ground out to tie the game 2-2 … the Trojans scored one run each in the next three innings on singles by Danelle Horton and Kat Burbrink (SR/Hamilton, OH) in the fourth and fifth innings respectfully and a solo home run in the sixth by Whited for her second homerun of the game … TNU won the game 5-2
