THIS WEEK
· The Dakota State University (S.D.) Trojan Softball team (2-4 overall record, 0-0 North Star Athletic Association conference record) returns back to Presentation (S.D.) Softball Dome (1500 N Main Street) for the third weekend in Aberdeen, S.D.
· The Trojans kick off a rare North Star Softball conference season opener on Friday morning versus Bellevue (Neb.) (3-1 overall record, 0-0 NSAA record) in a doubleheader. First game is set for 10 a.m., with the second game slated for 12 noon. The Bruins, who won the NSAA regular-season title last season, received votes in the 2018 NAIA Softball Coaches' Top 25 Preseason poll.
· DSU plays another North Star doubleheader on Saturday versus Waldorf (Iowa) (0-4 overall record, 0-0 NSAA conference record). The doubleheader is scheduled for 10 a.m.
