[Softball] Top-Ranked Lindsey Wilson Overwhelms Bryan Softball

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Five of Bryan College softball's first eight contests of the 2018 season have come against top-10 teams in the NAIA. The Lions, who were originally scheduled to play Martin Methodist College (Tenn.) Tuesday, had canceled those games and were going to have the day off until 8th-ranked Lindsey Wilson College offered to host Bryan in doubleheader action. Game one was controlled by the Blue Raiders as they allowed only four hits to the Lions in the 8-0 shutout. They finished off the Lions in the second contest 7-2 to complete the sweep, improving to 2-0 in their season-opener while moving Bryan to 1-7 after the Lions split the last day of the Grizzly Classic over the weekend (hosted by 7th-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College) and outlasted West Virginia Institute of Technology 1-0 after eight innings.
