[Softball] Pirates Picked Fifth by AMC Softball Coaches in League's Preseason Poll

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has released the 2018 AMC Softball Preseason Coaches' Poll and Season Preview. After finishing the 2017 season 22-20 and 15-9 in the AMC, Park University is picked to finish right where it did in the regular season last year, voted fifth by AMC coaches. The Pirates did knock off fourth-seeded Lindenwood-Belleville in last year's AMC tournament to earn a spot in the conference semifinals. The Columbia Cougars sit atop the preseason rating after winning the AMC postseason tournament and finishing fourth at the NAIA National Championship.
