[Softball] Lansing CC softball ranked 11th in Division II pre-season poll

The Lansing Community College softball team is ranked 11th in the NJCAA Division II pre-season poll that was released this afternoon. The Stars finished last season with a 42-15-1 overall record and won the MCCAA Western Conference with 28-4 record. They won the MCCAA Tournament beating Kalamazoo Valley Community College 8-4 in the Championship game. The Stars also claimed the NJCAA District I softball tournament defeating Kalamazoo Valley 11-2 in the championship game. They qualified for the NJCAA Division II National Tournament and went 2-2 at the tournament. They will open the season on March 4th in Alabama against Lurleen B. Wallace Community College.
