Livan Hernandez files for bankruptcy

Former Giants pitcher Livan Hernandez has filed for bankruptcy in Florida, claiming debts of up to $1 million.

The next year, he was MVP of the National League Championship Series and the World Series as the Marlins won the title.

Rachel Hanson, whose three Stanford softball teams lost 68 of 72 Pac-12 games, has resigned as head coach, the school said in a statement Tuesday.
