[Baseball] MACU Lands 28 Student-Athletes on SAC Academic All-Conference Team

OKLAHOMA CITY -- 28 Mid-America Christian University student-athletes from the sports of Baseball, Men's Basketball, Men's Golf, Women's Basketball and Softball have earned a spot on the Sooner Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference team, as presented by Cypress Risk Management.

To qualify for this award, student-athletes must be maintaining a minimum 3.25 grade-point average during the previous two semesters and be a regular contributor (letterwinner) on their team.

The Baseball Evangels were tops in the league with 13 on the list.

Cypress Risk Management, based in Omaha, Neb, is an insurance agency that specializes in providing customized solutions for collegiate student health and athletic accident insurance. The organization currently insures over 500,000 students nationwide and is already engaged with several other NAIA conferences in similar type of partnerships.
