[Softball] Sanders earns 2017 NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lyon College softball player Nicole Sanders (JR/Pineville, La.) has been named a 2017 NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete, the national office announced on Wednesday. Sanders is the fourth player in program history to be named to the national list.   

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
