4A STATE SOFTBALL: Ally Snelling sparks Palo Verde in opening-round win
Ally Snelling smashed a go-ahead, two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth inning, and Palo Verde held on for a 3-2 victory over Rancho in the opening round of the Class 4A state softball tournament at Bishop Gorman.
