Hattiesburg, Miss.- A Kiah Ferrell RBI single in the top of the first inning was the lone run of the game as No. 3 Seed Southeastern (Fla.) defeated No. 2 seed Southern Oregon, 1-0 in game one action of the Hattiesburg Bracket in the 2017 NAIA Softball National Tournament Opening Round at Joseph & Nancy Fail  Field.
