[Softball] Patriots Silenced by Third-Ranked Cougars 8-0

Columbia, MO – The University of the Cumberlands Softball team was back in action on Monday taking part in their first-ever NAIA National Championships Opening Rounds. The Patriots were plagued by errors as they fell to the third-ranked Cougars of Columbia College in five innings by a final score of 8-0. The Cougars improve to 44-5 on the year as the Patriots fall to 19-33.
