[Softball] Tigers fall in title game, but still earn bid to NAIA Opening Round

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University softball team came up just short of defending their Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title, but still picked up an automatic bid to the NAIA Opening Round on Saturday, May 6. The Tigers rebounded from their loss on Friday evening to down Cardinal Stritch 6-0 and face the University of St. Francis (Ill.) again in the championship. The Saints proved too much for the Tigers, coming away with a 6-2 win and the tournament title.
