[Softball] Jaguars fall to Generals in key sixth inning rally

FARMERS BRANCH – Haley Beam (SR/Pearland, Texas) was nearly perfect through five innings Saturday, but things fell apart for Beam and the University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars as the LSU-Alexandria Generals used a six-run sixth to advance to Sunday's championship game in the Red River Athletic Conference Softball Tournament at Oran Good Park with a 6-2 win over the Jaguars.

The Jaguars (32-18) drop to an 11 a.m. elimination game on Sunday and will face the winner of the Our Lady of the Lake and Langston elimination game from Saturday night.
