[Softball] Softball Conference Honors Announced

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) released its conference honors on the eve of the 2017 Softball Conference Tournament. Kassidy Butler of UM-Dearborn was selected as Player of the Year after leading the league with a 0.467 batting average (11th in the nation). Emily Combs of Madonna led the league with a 1.56 ERA and finished the regular season with an 18-5 record to earn Pitcher of the Year honors. Alexa Flores of Davenport was voted as Newcomer of the Year after her breakout season with the Panthers.
