[Softball] RedHawks Take Home Awards at SSAC Banquet

PULASKI, Tenn. – The Martin Methodist Softball team saw its 2017 season come to a close over the weekend with a pair of defeats at the 2017 SSAC Softball Championship in Decatur, Alabama.

The RedHawks (19-29) suffered a hard-luck loss to rival Bethel (Tenn.) University in Thursday's opener, but rallied for a 9-4 victory over Blue Mountain (Miss.) College on Friday morning. The RedHawks drew a rematch with Bethel in a Friday afternoon contest, but suffered a 4-2 loss to see the campaign come to an end.
