[Softball] USM Softball Swept by Ottawa, Advance to KCAC Tournament

The Saint Mary softball team was swept in a double header with Ottawa this weekend. The Spires fell 6-4 and 4-0. Saint Mary finishes the regular season with a 12-10 record in KCAC play. They finish sixth in the final standings and will take on Friends in the KCAC Quarterfinals on Wednesday at 6pm.

Wednesday, May 3, will mark the beginning of the 2017 KCAC Softball Championship Tournament. Games one and two will start at 4 p.m. and games three and four will begin at 6 p.m. The KCAC will crown its postseason champion on May 5 at the Great Bend Sports Complex in Great Bend, Kan.
