[Baseball] Scots clinch third seed in AMC Tournament

BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College softball team (30-22) clinched the No. 3 seed in the American Midwest Conference Tournament, when the regular season finished on Saturday. The Scots will open against No. 6 seed Central Baptist on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Carnes Field in Henderson, Tenn.

The Scots and Mustangs have played each other three times already this season, with Lyon winning two of the contests. The Scots defeated the Mustangs 16-4 on Mar. 14, before falling 4-2 in the final game of a twin bill. Lyon then hosted CBC on Apr. 4 and squeaked out a 2-1 win.
