[Softball] MCU Tops BenU to Earn #2 Seed

The 2017 California Pacific Conference Championship softball tournament opens May 4-7 at Simpson in Redding, Calif., with the top-seeded Red Hawks looking to defend their home turf and advance to the NAIA nationals for the sixth consecutive year.  Standing in the way of SU's return to the national stage is #4 La Sierra, the only Cal Pac team to defeat the Red Hawks this spring when they edged SU 2-1 on April 9 despite being no-hit by Paris Hallums.
