[Softball] Tigers tame CU, face LWC in consolation finals Sunday

Chelsae Osborn doubled to score Chaselyn Allgeier in the top of the first, the winning run in the semifinals of the Mid-South Conference tournament consolation bracket Saturday evening at Michael O. Buchanon Park.

Hannah Morton pitched a gem against Campbellsville University, scattering eight hits and striking out one in a complete game shutout win, 4-0. Her offense provided the insurance runs in the top of the fifth.

Georgetown took control of the game with three runs, taking advantage of two errors and a couple of other ground balls where an out was not recorded.
