[Softball] Lyon falls to Columbia in AMC Tournament

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Lyon College softball team had a tough American Midwest Conference Tournament opening round opponent in No. 1 seed Columbia Thursday afternoon. The Scots held early leads in the doubleheader, before falling 6-3 ad 8-3 in both contests.

Tess Hurley-Brown (SR/Batesville, Ark.) led the team in both games with two total hits, including a home run in the first game. A plethora of other Scots had one hit apiece on the day.
