[Softball] Lyon heads to No. 3 Columbia for AMC Tournament

BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College softball team (23-24) has clinched a spot in the AMC Tournament as the No. 8 overall seed, and will take on No. 1 seed Columbia on Friday in Columbia, Mo. Both teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m., with a third if necessary game scheduled for Saturday at 4 p.m.

The two teams last met at Howard and Mary House Field on Apr. 7, with the Cougars taking a doubleheader, 8-2 and 10-2.
