LINCOLN, Neb. – It was a meeting of old rivals on the diamond in Lincoln as Midland University played a doubleheader against former conference-rival Nebraska Wesleyan University on Wednesday. It was the first meeting between the schools since the Prairie Wolves left the GPAC and the NAIA to join the NCAA Division III back in 2016. The Warriors swept both games of the renewed series and did so in perfect fashion in game one as Aliyah Rincon spun a perfect game, winning 2-0. The second game saw the offenses erupt at Midland and outslugged NWU for the 13-6 victory.
