[Softball] No. 25 SXU Softball Falls Twice at Gulf Shores Tournament

Gulf Shores, Ala. – The No. 25 ranked Saint Xavier University softball team (7-5/0-0 CCAC) lost a pair of games to start the Gulf Shores Tournament at the Sportsplex in Gulf Shores, Ala. Friday evening. The Cougars lost to No. 2 University of Mobile (Ala.) in game one, 6-5, after the Rams scored the go-ahead run with two outs in the bottom of the 5th. SXU also fell to Thomas University (Ga.) in game two by a score of 7-2 with the Night Hawks using a seven-run top of the 4th to defeat Saint Xavier.
