[Softball] Softball Falls in First-Ever NAIA World Series Game
Columbus, Ga.- The softball team was scheduled to play their first-ever game in the NAIA Softball World Series on Thursday. The weather had other plans. A storm delay moved a scheduled 1:00 p.m., game to 7:30 p.m. Unsafe field conditions caused by the storms discovered before the game was scheduled to start forced the Lady Bulldogs game to be moved to Friday. The team, the No. 9 seed in the tournament, took the field against the No. 8 seed in the tournament, the Grand View University Lady Vikings.
