[Softball] Avila Fights to Final Four in KCAC Softball Tournament

GREAT BEND, Kan. - Avila (25-24) took down #5-seeded Kansas Wesleyan (22-22) in its first game in the consolation bracket on Friday afternoon before ultimately falling to top-seeded (RV) Ottawa (35-12-1). Despite being seeded seventh, by virtue of their pair of wins in the week the Eagles ended up as one of the final four teams in contention for the title at the 2022 KCAC Softball Championship Tournament in Great Bend, along with Ottawa and eventual finalists Friends and McPherson.
