[Softball] Softball Wins 2022 AAC Tournament Title

Kingsport, Tenn.- The softball team, the No. 3 seed in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Tournament and the No. 21 ranked team in the NAIA, was back in action on Friday at the tournament. The team was playing in the championship game. Not knowing their opponent entering the day, the team ended up facing the No. 4 seed in the tournament, the Truett McConnell University Lady Bears. As a virtue of not losing yet in the tournament, the Lady Bulldogs only had to win one game to win the title while the Lady Bears had to beat TWU twice to win the title.
