[Softball] Eagles Shut Out Spires in Doubleheader Sweep

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three Eagle pitchers combined to keep Saint Mary completely off the scoreboard in both ends of a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon at The Z – the Spires (18-24, 11-13 KCAC) were limited to just eight hits and zero runs across the two games as Avila (23-22, 13-11 KCAC) picked up two shutout victories to officially book its spot in the 2022 KCAC Softball Championship next week.
