WALESKA, Ga. - Reinhardt University twice jumped to early leads and the host Eagles went on to post a doubleheader sweep of the University of Rio Grande, Monday afternoon, in non-conference softball action.
A four-run second inning helped fuel a 6-3 Reinhardt win in the opener, while a 3-0 lead after three innings produced an eventual 7-1 win in the nightcap.
The Eagles improved to 12-7 with the sweep.
Rio Grande, which lost for the third and fourth straight time, slipped to 12-8.
