[Softball] Golic named 2021 Schutt Sports/NFCA NAIA Pitcher of the Year

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Senior pitcher Allison Golic (Mentor, Ohio/Eastern Illinois/Mentor) was named 2021 Schutt Sports/NFCA NAIA Pitcher of the Year when the award was announced Tuesday afternoon. She is the first pitcher for the Cougars to earn the award and joins former standout Nicole Nonnemacher (2013-16), who won Schutt Sports/NFCA NAIA Player of the Year in 2016. Maile Deutsch from McPherson College (Kan.) was named the Player of the Year, while Emily Loveless from Reinhardt University (Ga.) earned Freshman of the Year recognition.
