Columbia, Ky. – No. 2 seeded Saint Xavier University softball (35-3, 18-2 CCAC) turned up the power with three home runs in an 8-4 victory over No. 4 Brenau University (Ga.) and had to go to extra innings to upset No. 1 and host Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.), 2-1, in the Columbia (Ky.) Bracket in the NAIA Opening Round Tuesday afternoon at Sparks Park in Columbia, Ky. The Cougars will play No. 3 Madonna University (Mich.) in the Columbia (Ky.) Bracket Championship.
