[Softball] Softball National Championship Opening Round Qualifiers & Pairings Announced

The NAIA has officially announced the 40-team field and pairings for the 2021 NAIA Softball World Series Opening Round.  Saint Katherine, the California Pacific Conference champion, will make its first postseason appearance in the national tournament, and the Firebirds will start with the biggest possible hill to climb.  USK (13-19) travels to Ashland, Ore., where they will meet Opening Round host Southern Oregon (46-5), the defending national champions and the No. 1 ranked team in the NAIA all season, next Tuesday, May 18.
