The softball program at Shawnee State dropped its final pair of contests to Georgetown, losing a 4-3 heartbreaker in the opener and dropping a 5-0 setback to the Tigers in the final pair of games Sunday in a Mid-South Conference doubleheader held in Georgetown, Ky.
Shawnee State, who got on the scoreboard first, notched a run in the fifth off of a sacrifice fly from Sunetrius Armstrong that scored Kylie Ray, which gave the Bears a 1-0 lead after five innings of work.
