KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Madison McKinney didn't allow a hit until the seventh and threw well over 150 pitches in a herculean effort on a cold, rainy Wednesday afternoon at The Z in Kansas City, but Bethany (11-24, 5-4 KCAC) pulled away in the final inning to defeat Avila (14-13, 8-3 KCAC) 6-1 on the road.
