[Softball] McAlinden (CUAA) and Ash (AQ) take Softball Weekly Honors
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) named Shannon McAlinden of Concordia and Leah Ash of Aquinas as its Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week. McAlinden batted .714 in four games with three of her 10 hits going for extra bases including a home run to finish the week with eight RBI. Ash pitched five innings while allowing just one hit and walking one for a five-game victory.
