YORK, Neb. – A pair of high-scoring affairs led to a split for Midland University softball on Friday. The Warriors dropped the opener to Cottey College by a score of 14-5 but responded with a 16-4 romping of (RV) Dickinson State University in the nightcap.
The split brings Midland to 9-3 on the year. Cottey College improved to 13-2 with the win while Dickinson State dropped to 6-5 overall.
