LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Sydney Campolo scattered five hits and a pair of walks in a complete game effort, leading the University of Rio Grande to a 4-1 win over the University of South Carolina-Beaufort, Friday evening, in the Grizzly Invitational hosted by Georgia Gwinnett College at the Grizzly Softball Complex.
Rio Grande dropped a 1-0 decision to sixth-ranked Georgia Gwinnett earlier in the day.
The RedStorm finished the day at 10-5 with the split.
