[Softball] Miscues costly for Jaguars in pair of loses
SAN ANTONIO – Miscues and missed opportunities proved costly for the University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars softball team on Saturday as they dropped a pair of games at the Our Lady of the Lake Nationwide Classic.
The Jaguars stumbled out of the block in the opening game as Bellevue took advantage of nine UHV errors en route to a 15-7 win. The Jaguars then lost the following game in international tiebreaking rules 8-7 to the Ottawa-Arizona Spirit in eight innings.
