Softball sweeps doubleheader against Cumberland Wednesday on Senior Day
COLUMBIA, Ky. – On April 18, 2018, the then No. 9-ranked Lindsey Wilson softball team swept Cumberland (Tenn.) on Senior Day at Marilyn D. Sparks Park.
The Blue Raiders claimed game one with a final score of 5-2. Lindsey Wilson outhit the Phoenix 11 to five in the opener. Lyric Houston managed two RBIs on a double to lead LWC. Taylor Slade picked up the win from the circle, allowing two runs on five hits while notching three strikeouts.
