In the final day of competition at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic, the softball program at Shawnee State experienced mixed results. The Bears broke a 1-1 tie with Midway (Ky.) in Game 1 with three runs in the fifth and sixth frames of action en route to a 7-2 victory, but fell in rematches to Barton (N.C.) and Midway in Games 2 and 3 as both offenses kept the Bears from closing in on victory in the latter affairs.
