Colonie softball defeats Shenendehowa in Class AA semifinal

A pair of two-run home runs on Thursday afternoon gave Colonie a 4-3 win over No. 1 Shenendehowa and a chance to play in the Section II, Class AA championship game.
"It feels amazing. All season we've been working so hard to get to this point and to finally get here feels great," said senior Myaisha Kelly.
Kelly's power was on full display at Luther Forest Athletic Fields when she drilled a no-doubter two-run shot to left field in the first inning, putting Colonie up 2-0.
