[Softball] AAC Announces Post-Season Softball Awards; Three Skyhawks on All-AAC 2nd Team

WEST POINT, GA: Three Point University softball players have been named to All-Appalachian Athletics Conference second team and nine Skyhawks received All-AAC Academic Team honors.

Eight AAC teams begin play at the double-elimination AAC Tournament, Wednesday, April 24 at the Brickyard Ballfields in Kingsport.  The number seven seed, Point (29-17), takes on number two-seeded Union College (31-18), at 3 p.m. on day one. Point is coached by Jennifer Tyler (eighth season).
